new Koni/GC DIY option

Hey Folks,

I've been looking for how to make the Koni/GC option as inexpensive as possible for people. For those who have the tools and basic skills to do a DIY Koni/GC setup, it seems to me that the biggest roadblock is having the car on jackstands while you disassemble and prep your own strut bodies. This can take as long as a week if the strut bodies are cleaned and painted.

For you DIY folks, what I have decided to do is offer prepared strut bodies that are setup for the Koni/GC combo. If you buy Koni inserts and GC springs from me, then I can sell you a set of prepared struts bodies at my cost for $150. The strut bodies will be:

- cleaned, beadblasted
- cut and drilled for Koni inserts
- welded for GC springs
- primed and painted in the basic color of your choice with rust resistant paint

This leaves you with the basic assembly tasks.

I'll need your old struts for the next customer, so there is also a $300 core charge that will be refunded when you return your used struts to me.

PM me if you'd like a set.
