European models got glass headlight lenses without fog lights and have the washers. Most also got headlight level adjusters as well but as we are finding out, there is a member in Paraguay who has what seems to be a Euro spec car but it does not have the level adjusters

Yeah, what Nate said.

It's interesting the Paraguay car does not have headlamp electric adjusters. This may imply that other markets got the glass lamps but minus the in-car adjusters.

We are learning as we go here.

So far as we have seen up to now no glass fronted headlamp has the fog lamp on the inside. All that we have seen so far have a silver blanking plate in the fog position.

We have been told by a continental Europe member that this may have been prompted in 91-92 by German Tuv regulations as they applied at that time. The German problem related to the fog lamps in the SVX being positioned too close to the main or dipped beam position to be legal in Germany.

As Germany was a very big market for Subaru, it appears that all Euro cars were made do without the inner fog beam.

In the light of the different headlamp chassis that went to Uruguay, I wonder if it's possible that any glass headlamp market got the fog beams installed? So far we have not seen any.

My glass headlamps don't have electric height adjusters, it's manual with a 8mm socket or screwdriver, I also don't have fogs

I have seen a red 1995 model SVX in Australia with the exact same front bumper with fogs in it, I think they were an option for later years

That's interesting to know Jordan. If the Oz cars were supplied without the beam leveler, but with glass and no inner fog, then it is that model of headlight that Max got supplied in Paraguay.

I wonder how many Oz cars have the 'with fogs' option? Or if it was an option at all, did somebody perhaps convert the original headlamp to include the extra lamp?

Have you any catalogues or detail to back up the fact it was an option?

What I was saying was I have seen another SVX with a separate lower fog headlight in the front bumper like Pierre's, our glass headlights don't have fogs in them here in Oz
