Tranny Flushes
So I had my CV Joint removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled today. So I figure, hey its in the shop, why not!! Anyway, my reflection on the so far controversial topic of flushes is WOW!! Precious shifted so much smoother and and lost ALL of the nagging things that I thought were the signs of iminent tranny death.
Its a 2 year old reman tranny from my only issue with a tranny in this car. And my service dude reccomends evey 40k I think...

Makes sense to me. Doing a regular drain (~ 1/3 of the fluid) and screen clean service is like changing your oil filter and not draining the oil pan (same but different. )
My mechanic recommends alternating these two types of services.
