No code because power was going to the motor and it operated, just couldn't push and pull on the two nylon rods that open and close the doors on the heater and AC sides. A pain to get to. Crawl under the dash and look up by the console. The motor is No. 2 in the attached parts schematic (a gray box about the size of a pack of cigarettes). Adjust the thermostat from hot to cold and you should see the motor pushing and pulling the two rods back and forth to switch from hot to cold. Mine just sat there but you could hear the motor running.

Well, you were close to correct. I was just under my dash when the temp was changed and the entire grey electric motor started moving around. Looks like both bolts fell out at some point. I had a random bolt in the ash tray, but didn't know what it went to. Now I need to source two more and find a little bity screw driver to tighten them.
