Well hey folks. I've been in a band for a while now, and we finally had the chance to record a few songs for a short CD. We're hoping to have everything printed by the end of the month, and then maybe have a release party.

Anyway, I'm a christian, and I believe that music is the Lord's gift to me, and I reflect this in my songs. Don't worry, I'm not a bible beater and I'm not trying to shove anything down anyone's throat, but it's just what I believe, I am proud of it, and it is reflected in the songs. I'd describe us as indie/christian/pop, if you are curious before you listen.

It's not me singing, but it is me playing guitar, and I did write the words and music to these songs, so I did at least have a part in it! ...Singers always hog the spotlight anyway, lol

I'll have to give it a listen when I have access to a computer outside of work... ever since I found out Norma Jean was a Christian band, well... I can say I'd never thought I'd be listening to such music..... but I do.

You're a Norma Jean fan? Nice! lol We're definitely not in the same genre as them, but they have quite a few tasty tunes.

I agree with the other guy. It's a bit too upbeat for me. No worries though, I'm sure you'll do fine because the market's there for it.

It's good to be proud and to have something to believe in. I believe in something different and am proud in my own way. I won't lie, I am a bible burner.
