not known in the US for being SQ, but not necessarily the loudest either.

If you want volume and quality, look here (this isn't the only place you can get both, but it's a good starting place):

http://www.adireaudio.com/

click to mobile audio, then look at the Brahma series.

so are you saying that those are not of a great quality? where are they made? USA? because sure a high RMS with a very large coil and high db sounds very attractive... and niiiiiiiice prices!

You know - they kind of have a bad rep.

They make some real sh*t stuff, but then again they make some decent stuff at the same time. I'd never try their speakers but I have had their subs for almost 2 years now and I beat the crap out of them. There's complaints about the model I have blows easily and can't handle power in a large box.

Well, I disagree with that. I've got them getting at least 500w RMS each (and that's true rms - not legacy crap) in their own 1.25cu ft enclosure....they pound pretty dam good.

In my G20 on a BP1200.1 amp in a prefab box it hit 146dB ............I think that's dam impressive for a $700 setup.

Just beware - like i said, they have bad products too.

Best is to listen to them and judge for yourself. Everyone has their own tastes.

mmm, that's why i am asking about it, i don't wanna get screw*d for them... i am not looking for a " becoming deaf" kind of system, like big subs and stuff, just some decent parts to put in my car to hear some DVD's and from time to time some high kickin music.. as for the sub, i am gonna buy the small Pioneer sub box with 101 db which i am gonna customize its place between.... mmm... the two back seats (it was gonna be a surprize with the interior leather mod), a couple of nice high RMS speakers in the back and others in the front. I thought i am gonna go 400W and 200RMS in the back connected an ampli to them (three outs, two for the speakers and the other for the sub) and in the front a couple of 6.5" with 200W and 100RMS connected to them the pioneer DVH-P5000MP (it has 4X50W max, convert them to 2X100W for the front speakers) and a nice 7" LCD screen... a nice audio tune up, not very exagerated, but cool... what do you think?
