I'm here.....I've been quite busy as of late with school,work, my son, the Legacy, and our latest project (see below) ......a 97 Nissan Altima (long story....very long story....let's just say I was almost single again after finding out about this).

I'm cutting my vacation short to be with you's guyz at the meet. I should arrive Friday evening from the Poconos (may be in the Legacy as I'm not driving my SVX to the Poconos).

Why do you have to make up for no shows? Do they charge for a minimum number of attendees? If you tell them that 40 are coming and only 35 show up, do they charge for 40?

Is the 21.50 a special rate? Or if we just show up without signing up, do they sell us the dinner for 21.50?

Tossed Salad with assorted dressings
Rolls and butter
Sliced Roast Sirloin of Beef

Coffee, Decaf, Tea, Soda, Iced Tea

For the drinkers (yes Ron that includes you) there will be a cash bar at dinner. No need to walk out to the main bar!!!!

Dinner will be held from 6pm-8pm.

After last year where some individuals "forgot" to pay and the need to have a final count NO LATER THAN APRIL 7th we have decided that we will pre sell the dinner.

The cost per person for dinner will be $21.50 BEFORE April 7th. After April 7th we will honor everyone who signs up for dinner on a sign up list which will start on the next post (YAY! I'll be first!) the cost per person due on Saturday will be $26. (sorry but we have to make up for the no-shows with out it all coming out of the planners pockets). Remember if you aren't signed up on this list by April 7th you will not be able to go to dinner.

To everyone wishing to prepay for dinner at the discount rate of $21.50 per person you can either paypal myself or send me a check (prefered as paypal takes their typical fees). BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR SCREEN NAME AND THE NAMES OF THE ATTENDEES either on the check or in the paypal remarks line.

An addition that I forgot to ask about is kids. Just heard back from the hotel that kids under the age of 12 eat for 1/2 price or $10 after the taxes and all.

Yes we do have to make up for no shows. I need to give them a total count by the 8th. It is just like any reception type set up only. The 21.50 is a break even point for having 60 participants go to dinner. There are fixed costs such as room rental, mike rental, bar issues etc that don't change with the number of people. The higher rate is there simply because of people not showing for something they sign up for but to me at least that is better than the people who went and didn't pay last year.

Can I reserve 2 tickets... One for my self and one for my guest... I'm still not sure if I want to eat there or not... But I want the option to decide later on... Will it be alright to reserve the tickets then if I want to eat there saturday night then I can just pay for them... If not then I'll go to the "Burger King" dinner that red95svx is putting on
