Power Window issue on my XT

Got to work today and powered my window down to show my i.d. and then it went up til about 3 inches from the top then fell back down. Any ideas out there what holds the window to the motor/regulator. I'm guessing that's what broke. Figures, it had to do it on a cool snowy day right.

Looks like Mark answered your post on the XT6 board....So I guess I'll just say hope you get it fixed real soon, as its a bad time of year to have your window open

Good luck with it.

Broken PW

Thanks Huck,

Mark did answer quite nicely, although I was hoping for a sure fire method to keep the window up til at least Monday. I guess I'll have to drive it home and park it leaving me with only the SVX to drive to my weekend job. What sucks is I just got done cleaning it real good and there's a ton of salt on our roads!

Ben,
You can take the door panel off and wedge a piece of wood in under the window to keep it up till you get the part....you have to remove the door panel anyway to fix it.
At least then the SVX will stay clean
