Post WANTED: Schematics and pinout for the AC controls

Guys,

I need a pinout and major schematics for the AC control unit. I am going to move/replace it soon. I think.

On a Japanese SVX site the a/c controls have an a/c button. I assume the can turn on the a/c whenever and wherever they want. Does anyone think that control unit would work on an US model and would the correct wiring be there.

Yep, I squirreled away a few of the best informational pics I've found here to help the newbys. It's easier than trying to remember who has what. You should be impressed. B.

I recently acquired a JDM climate control module. When it arrives, I will post detailed pics.

I'm eager to hear how it works. Just why did you get it?

I have an addiction to JDM parts. I must have everything. I'm running out of stuff though.

old thread

Green1995svx I was just wondering if you ever put in that jdm a/c controls and if they worked. Watching the auto controls work is neat, but this winter I want hot air on the steering wheel and my hands and if your jdm controls worked with the existing wiring, I would consider the same change over.

I lost the bid on the control unit i thought I was getting. It is still something I plan on doing, but it's been put on hold for now. If you want to warm up your hands, this is what I do... put on the defogger then hold your hands over the side window vents in the door. <Ikea guy mode on> "People will think you crazy." <Ikea guy mode off>
