got a fix it ticket

Got a fix it ticket for my window tint, apparently 12% tint is a no no in madison county. Spent all of 5 minutes with a razor blade to peel off the door windows. IDK though if they'd want me to take off the rear windows tint

Re: got a fix it ticket

looks like in NY you can have 70% (lol whats the point) on your front and back sides and the rear can be any darkness.

i'd double check your laws though. but that's what the internet tells me in a quick search....

i really need to rip the front tint off my truck.... before my written warning turns into a real ticket...

Re: got a fix it ticket

Officer Oinker probably gave you the ticket because he was jealous of your cool car! What a way to fight crime in NY. In the words of files, Tee,hee, hee, snort! (hopefully files doesn't have a patent on that)

eh, I was sick of the tint anyway, it was next to impossible to see out of the back and sides at night
