A faulty lock-up solenoid will cause a stall or no start issue if it is bad. Theories may be discussed, but facts can only be heeded. I have dealt w/ it and know the results. Just trying to be informative when I can. (not saying this is the problem, just a direction to look towards) "Keep eyes peeled, mind open, ears perky and nose clean."

Thanks for your replys,
I am going to try and get underneath it tomorrow and check shift linkage and brake band adjustment. Where is the location of the solenoid? How can I check it? Still thinking about 5 Speed MT swap. If I do... it won't be until spring. Thanks everyone, Chip |

Hello everyone,
I gave in and took it to a professional. the tranny is shot... Complete rebuild in the works. After changing the filter and fluid, the trans pan had metal in the bottom of it after driving it less than 50 miles. I'll let you know how it performs when I get it back. Thanks, Chip |
