Magic Carpet ride

Love the wheels on that Segway David!

I saw my first Segway at Disney World right after Christmas. A guy was making the rounds of some of the stores at Downtown Disney on one. I stopped him, and he was very kind to show me how it worked. He glided around on that thing like it was a magic carpet! When he swooshed away, he came right up to a door, reached out and opened it just the way you would if you walked up to one, and just glided right through. Amazing.... Don

1) i'm not gonna stand up to get places, i want a seat!

2) i hear how some places are considering a ban on them as dangerous to pedestrians. sort of like banning cars a dangerous to horses i guess. no guts, no glory.

3) how long till they got them on a track for the annual 500 mile race (pit stops to recharge may be a bit longer than most fans can handle though).
