Hi folks

The Geneva show, called "Autosalon" is from 6th to 16th march. If this concept car will really presented there, I will go. Usually I go every 2nd or 3th year. I will make then a few pictures and post them (if nobody else do).

Switzerland is for Subaru the most important market in Europe. So, that's not wondering me, that they unveil the concept car to us. On European continent, they sold the most SVX in ...... Switzerland: official from Subaru Switzerland exactly 954 cars from 1992 till 1997.

I'm glad someone posted a pic that I could access. From that one pic it reminds me of a Pontiac concept car of some sort. Obviously there were more pics judging from prior posts in this thread. Can someone with an account to that site pull off all the pics and post them here? Please?

It looks like a Cadillac, BMW, Alpha Romeo and a Honda rolled into one. If the final production vehicle looked like that, then the name Subaru SUX would definitely be fitting. It shows none of the innovation or originality that the SVX exhibits, even to this day.

"It's too shallow for a toilet..."

I have to tell one on myself. 1972. I took a month's leave from the Navy detachment in Keflavik, Iceland and did some travel by myself in Europe. I checked in to a small hotel in Nice, France....and there, next to the sink, was one of THOSE.

Well, this Tennessee boy had seen a few things already in his young life, but this took the cake. It was too shallow for a toilet, and the drain didn't look right....and there was already a regular sink in the room.....

....so I washed my socks and underwear in it, and hung 'um up on the window sill to dry. Don

My intro to one of "those" was in '65 when I was a GI in Germany on a trip through Paris on the way to Spain, & stayed overnight at a female friend of a friend's apartment. I'd just met this girl & upon returning from bathroom duty I announced to her that the French sure have wide urinals. My visit went downhill from there.

Ron.
