beware they are all phone pix

Well, here is some of what has been going on in my world, by pictures!
Our new home is more than twice the size of our last and I own it, so thats cool...

However the previous owners had a contractor do the bulk of the renovation and DIYed the finishing , so while it really wasn't too bad, I knew I was gonna have to DIMyself the right way.

I started with the bathroom, I really should have taken the drywall down and started from scratch, but in the spirit of doing this fast and not pissing anyone off, I just did my best to repair their halfA#$ attempt at it.
Before!

After

Before, and yes the sink is next... then I'll paint the trim etc.

After, yes the next step is the sink, and the outlets...

Wife loves it and it turned out pretty good in comparison.

The Carnage from my accident... hard to believe that single passenger door totaled a mazda 6

...and finally I found myself behind that k car again at the drive thru last week! the part that requires your attention is towards the right of the trunk

was that badge stock? I remember their goal was to "echo" merc... This is the only one I've seen it on, aside from one pic online... and I (an old benz owner several times over) was certain it was off a merc.

my buddy actually pulled the front seats out of his newyorker for use in his first apartment they were comfy, i'll give it that

If you mean the "600" badge then yes it is stock. they had three diff. ones if i remember. 600, 600se, and 600ls i think this last one was the convertable version. they are basically "better" than the dodge 400 but the styles are similar to the lebaron of the same year early 1980's. mine had a brown vynil top also

awesome.

i recall one time when we were driving through the woods in the reliant:
"hey, is that your tire?" looking down past my friend's shoes...
"uhh, yeah"... continue bounding through the trail that may have been paved at some point
"..uhhh.."
"um...."
"what?!?!" still bumping around and turning between trees downhill
"umm--" turns key, turns key, turns key for a while....
*engine stumbles into a rev*
...nevermind

Our 82 Reliant only saw 90 mph one time. I was at the farm and the middle daughter crashed her bike. We stopped the bleeding long enough to throw her into the K and 'HIT the GASS"!!

It was dependable, but no 'frills'..... I hope I never have to go back there!
