The Giants defense, in my opinion, played much like the Eagles defense did during the Patriots game. Getting in Tom Brady's face, hitting him, and keeping him from getting a rhythm was just what Jim Johnson did in that game. Steve Spagnuolo, the Giants defensive coordinator did spend 8 years under Jim Johnson after all.

This won the game for them but it's a miracle they pulled it off.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5BWzoyzVbc

I said to myself when that happened they had the game in the bag. I can't believe he got outta that pile and still manage to throw it that far and have him catch it. That is one of the most amazing plays I have seen.

And it goes to show how classless the Partriots are in that they can't even stay on until the game is officially over. All I can say is I am looking forward to tomorrow's parade!
That's what I saw! If some of those guys had jumped 3 inches higher, been 1 second faster, it might have been different, BUT, It was what it was! Giants didn't steal it, they worked for it and it happened.
I was not disapointed in anything I saw.
I was damned GLAD to be able to LOOK at it, if you know what I mean!

Giants Parade

Went to the parade today, it was amazing! Strahan and Manning were in the float with the trophy (no surprise). Estimated about 1 million people were going to be there today, i wouldn't have been surprised, it was packed! I almost couldn't get back to work!

I was glad to see someone beat NE just for the whole * issue. Giants had a very tough road to the superbowl and seemed to execute their game plan to perfection. Its almost like they had a video of all the evil empire's plans.

Coughlin definately did it right this time by leaving some of his freakish tendancies in Jacksonville like forcing players to donate to his church. It would have been even better to see the Steelers beat the Giants though!

Why on earth would one root for a cursed sporting town? It'd be like rooting for the Browns! I was a steeler fan since 82 so I'd say I've had my share of hard times, just not a team that is good enough to only break your heart!

I never thought i'd be standing up for the eagles but in their defense they have arguably the best running back in the game and did make it to the super bowl within the past 5 years. But to each their own, I love football, Goodell is my MVP, haha.

Spoken like a true Pats fan.

I hate NE. Even though I live there. Their fans are terrible - they're fair-weather, riot win or loose, and if they loose, the "other" team always got lucky.

In actuality, NY played an amazing games. Their fans have been waiting for Eli to pull one of these for a long time. You can't call it luck - just to get to the superbowl you need to be undefeated in the post season, and the Giants were. They were consistently strong, and used their defense to run over the opposing QB's.

Its not a ground breaking strategy, but they did it every time and they did it well. Way to go NY. I've loved the Giants since I can remember.

And for the record, Steelers are good too. They've just had a few rough seasons lately. Eagles suck.

There would be a lot of arguments about them having the best running back. Several are actually better.

You're making my point for me. Just good enough to be a heartbreaker. Honestly, I think that's what philly fans want as if their sports teams actually could finish, what would they have to complain about... They'd have to focus on that killadephia reality!

haha yeah, or filthadelphia, as i like to call it. Philly is by far the dirtiest city I've been too, and that's saying a lot considering I am in NYC. Kind of a shame actually...
