Try this wing on for size.....

I bought a wing that I think just might look good on
an SVX.......some will laugh, some agree........I have no
idea if its going to work at all, but in time Ill let you all know
how it goes after I get it pre fit.

The shape is the same as the SVX wing and that is a good thing. The mounting is a lot different. The svx wing is more solid.

I don't feel that it fits the profile of the SVX's rear deck. The corners are so squared-off on the SVX, and this wing has an almost semi-curcular shape.

the talon has almost the same rear shape as the SVX......
and it looks at home on that car. As for mounting, I
have some ideas...

The rear has similar lines, but I think it looks at home because the rear glass is much more curved.

Ah, well, whatever. Enjoy it if you must.

Shades of Stealth. Aren't you afraid it'll make you invisible to radar?

Hmmm. Maybe if you put it on the roof.

Generally speaking, I have great respect for the mods you've accomplished on the SVX. I've been wishing my Mom were still alive (she lived in Tucson) so I would have an excuse to visit your shop. This time, however, well, I just don't think even you can make that work. For one thing, it's still gonna look like it came off a Talon.

Heheh. I just realized what that looked like. No Mom, that's not the only reason I wish you were still with us.

Im hoping the talon thing wont show thru too much....
and once on the car will just make the car look that much
different. (even the stock wing isnt too much different then
say a accord)....but its just an idea, and I wont know until
I actually try, right....?
Wasions.....you can always visit my mom !! Tucsons
a great town for all kinds of things.......if you enjoy the sun
its even better

Kinda looks like Zena: Warrior Princess, launched one of her "disc weapon thingies" and it found its way into the windshield of a perfectly good automobile. Oh, did I mention I was a "stock freak?"

(Just givin' you a little grief, Dayle. I haven't given you any in a long time. )

I would have to question how that wing will look. The talon might have a close shape in the rearend, but it is shorter and not as wide as the svx. I would think that there would be to much trunk lid sticking out from the sides. I have been wrong before, and I am prepared for it agin, but it just seems to me that it will look like a beanie atop Paul Bunion's head. Could you just rest it on the car and snap a pic so we can all decide how it looks straight from the photo.
