Repaint Cost - Storm Damage
Well.. thanks to a storm w/ 70mph straight line winds and my companies building w/ gravel on its roof. Every car has been sandblasted. All my windows survived luckily...no chips/cracks or anything. I'm not sure if I will claim it yet....but it looks rough. The front facia and hood look like I drove 100 miles behind a gravel truck. What is the average cost to sand repaint the entire car on average... any guess? I just want some info so they don't try to total my baby. Every panel recieved at least a few chips. Gravel was flying everywhere in big circles. Car is Polo Green pearl.... I did recieve a few tiny dings in the quarter panels from said flying buckshot.

Depending on the dents, they may total it. If they do, you could buy it back for cheap and get it painted!
Average paint job is between $2000-$3000 depending on prep work. Painting a car is cheap, it's the prep work that costs money. Also, if it was your company's building that caused it they should have some insurance to cover damages.

I've been doing some looking around my area... For a full repaint.. Including removal of body panels, running boards, etc.. It's going to run about $4000.00.. More than I, personally, am willing to spend...
Maybe if those lotto numbers come through....
