Big changes
Well. With mohrds donating nesessary drive boxes, and Travis donating us some new drives there is a bunch of work due to happen in the near future. I have yet to figgure out how to pay for the RAID card, but it seems to have found its way into my posession. I am guessing that this weekend there might be a bit of down time to rebuild things around here. I will keep you all posted. As of now here is a list of expected upgrades and work.
>1 New RAID card with new array of drives, bumping up hard drive space. >2 New install of latest "stable" slackware Linux operating system >3 New version of Apache web server >4 Latest version of PHP >5 Latest version of MySQL database server >6 Newest version of the vbulletin software (2.2.1) >7 Graphical changes made to front end (hopefully) Anyone good with HTML and or graphics is welcome to help. Email me your time offer aong with your skill you can assist with. I pretty much have the software side and hardware side taken care of. If somone wants to make us some cool graphics, replacement buttons, etc... let me know. Work will proabably take Saturday or Sunday... Or both. Will keep updates posted

If you are proud of being a computer dummy, why would you want to be educated in RAID? Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks Basically you take many small, cheap disks and the RAID card makes them look like one big disk. It also improves preformance and provides parity calculation and storage so that if one drive dies, the data can be rebuilt from the other disks. Informative enough for you?
