Im a member of the local rotary club, rotary engine, not help the community....Anyways, tomorrow at Modern Garage in Murray, Im going to dyno my svx for fun with the rotary club members, all I have is a intake from the SVX store/ warehouse. So we'll see, it will be Five FWD Pulls...rattling heatshields and all...I will post results, tomorrow......

This is probbably going to get moved to Southwest, but nobody will see it there...heh...

If your SVX is a '92, then it's most likely an AWD SVX, in which case I wouldn't out in on a FWD dyno. True, you can put in the FWD fuse, but it's still goign to damage the transfer clutch because the input side will be spinning furiously and the output side will be standing still.

I wouldn't do it.

Im aware of the fact that it is, a AWD SVX, heh. I didnt know about the potential for damage, thats good to know, i'll shell out the extra 50 and put it on an AWD dyno then....I might not get to run it tomorrow tho, because they will only have the FWD/RWD setup for the 7s.....

DAMN YOU...heh...

For $135 (including shipping), you can get a MrDyno. After using mine many times now on many different cars and getting 0-60, 1/4 mph, and HP stats, I'm glad on spent the money on it rather than going to a dyno. For anyone who's a dataholic, its the way to go. :-))

Well, the SVX is on the back burner for projects, the RX-7 is being tuned for 500RWHP, so i kinda let the SVX stay as my daily driver, and reliable for the time being....

Yeah if you want to keep the SVX reliable, I definitely wouldn't run it on a FWD dyno. I'm not saying you're goign to kill your transfer clutch in one dyno run, but I think the potential for serious damage is there.
