Also, I'd like to say **** OFF to some of you. If you were doing about 10 over, and you got a ticket for doing 20 over, I'm PRETTY SURE you'd be pissed off. Especially once you went to court and they told you to go play with yourself.

I am sure that attitude helped in court as well.

I was pissed when I got my ticket, then I found out that I got pulled over right before the driveway for the police station I was hoping you would get a laugh out of it as I did when I realized my own stupidity.

That is why I am laughing most of the time. If I didn't laugh, I would probably cry!

Well, I would think that with being aware of all the extra attention this car gets, you would be even that much more carefull about your driving speeds/habits...

Funny, I don't even notice it any more.
Funny thing, I only see it from outside the SVX. It seems to disapear when I'm in the car.

i had two speeding tickets within a year a while back - i was careful not to speed after that (at least until some of the points were gone. )

i guess i should have just whined about the corrupt justice system and started an anti-B.S. campaign.

Pretty sure girls liked the car, (Quote from a friend, "Wow, we're doing 95!? it's so smooth!") of course I was also riding a perfect red motorcycle that summer... Now every car I own has body damage, really makes me , every time I buy a car someone hits me!!!

Cute girl at work likes my SVX, too. Encouraged me to buy it, in fact, and called dibs on the first ride. And my, she looked mighty fine in that seat beside me, bubbling "I like it... I like it!"

Laid it all on the line with her one day this week; bared my soul and poured-out my heart, envisioning the two of us riding off together into a brilliant, golden sunset of eternal bliss (in the SVX, of course).

Her words, in the end: "Lets just pretend we didn't have this conversation."

Ouch.

At least I have the car.

Yeah, well, I'm a 46 year old, graybeard grandfather. She's closer to my daughter's age, and stunning.

Oh, and she's married.

And now that I think about it, she's technically my boss.

(Were I a sensible man, I'd still be driving my old Legacy to work every day.)
