Sprung Mom from the rehab center tuesday! She is walking with a walker, but she is walking!! She is walking into places that a walker is not meant to go, and getting into mischief, but she is walking!

I have to keep after her like a 'toddler'! She thinks that she can do all the 'stuff' that she used to do. Busy,busy!! Thank God!!

There was too much snow for her to go to the Bro's house, so eldest daughter and I shared 'Mom' duties till this afternoon. With hours of shoveling and re-hashing his space, Bro accepted 'Mom' duties this afternoon.

Moms are really hard to replace. They are even harder to 'ignore', if they were good ones
Even though someone might not think you are 'cool' because you take your mom to a 'cruize nite', movie, resturant, etc. as a young person, you might have to 're-think' cool. Bite the bullett!! TAKE her!. I wish that I would have taken Mom to a LOT of places when she was able to walk and enjoy it!

Moms are an 'asset' that too many people don't realize they have till it's too late!

YOU wouldn't be where-ever you are without her! You wouldn't be ANYWHERE!! You would not exist!

There is no shame in taking your mom where you go.


ENJOY your parents! Take them with you. Love them!

Jerry, not ever having met you I'm going out on a limb and assuming that you're either a Christian, or at least a God-fearing man.

I AM a christian, and as a brother of mine in the family of God, I would like you to know that I will remember you in my prayers. The 90 years young 'Energizer Bunny' is amazing the therapists!

Thank you, one and all! She might just need that new bowling ball after all!

If it doesn't snow tonite, I will be hauling her to her house to 'pet the cats' for a day.
She will be going back to bro's house for the 'Eve' celebrations though.
