agreed tom !! konis are like eggs pretty strong....... but cant take a pounding.... (sorta like rally neons!!) neons make decent solo/race cars.......but in rallying they tend to come apart...starting with bent rear lower control arms ........ ps.thanks matt !!! now i have an idea of where to start at least.i was in the dark on spring rates....

in that case... would the koni/gc setup be a bad choice if the area I paticularly drive in (new brunswick rutgers university area) because its full of potholes, raised roads and rough roads.
can it stand up to the punishment? I need to replace my struts again because the new ''old'' struts couldn't take the daily road conditions

they should handle the conditions just fine... its all how you have the konis adjusted... I would leave the rears a full turn off of full firm and leave the fronts 1.5 turns of full firm... This will allow the springs to react more and take load off the struts on rebound.
