Pic #57 (page 7, 3rd image on the upper right) shows a button popped up next to the shift lock decal.
I don't think my '96 has a functional button there....who can educate us?

The later models have their "Shift Lock" buttons in a different location, correct?

The shift lock is there (same spot) but it's not a button. You have to remove a plate and stick a screwdriver in to get the same effect.
