Sheer genius
I do believe the guy who said on the other website that he HEARD you have to remove the throttle bodies to change the PVC valve is sheerly a genius! This after getting all defensive about EC calling people for spreading B as in b, S as in s. Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon Ryan? They put up guard rails just for people like you! By the way, log me off permanently. The asylum has been overrun.

Removing the throttle bodies is obviously un-necessary and wrong. Not everybody is thinking straight, and a lot of people are angry about things outside our control. Keep it cool, man. And keep it impersonal if you could. We have a good thing going on this board with good friends communicating and helping each other out. Joe

Seeing as how he put in a CYA in there saying, "Well from what I've heard, although I could be completely wrong,"
If you've not done something yourself, you can only go on what others have said or done. |

Now, let me see if I got this right: You're "signing off permanently" because somebody on another site heard somewhere (not here?) that you had to remove the throttle body to change the PCV (not PVC) valve? So, you're quitting this site for something that was done on another site? You surprise me, Mike. I had certainly gotten the impression that you were a little more level-headed than that. Nobody minds that people point out BS. Please do. Just use a modicum of decorum when doing it -- that's all that's been asked. BS, by the way, is taking a parting shot at a particular member before "signing off."

I know, however, that there are enough knowledgeable people on the Yahoo site that would be quick to correct this mistake, so, it shouldn't be anything to get one's "panties in a wad" about.
