Duty Solenoid A
I've been getting a flashing power light on startup, so I checked this evening and it is coming back as Solenoid A. If I remember correctly, this controls front/rear power split.
Is there anything else that might be causing this indication other than a bad Solenoid A? Are there procedures anywhere for replacing this? Recommendations? Thanks!

Re: Duty Solenoid A
Duty C solenoid/transfer valve controls the amount of transfer to the rear wheels.

Re: Duty Solenoid A
Duty solenoid A is your line pressure control solenoid... Often the circuit is disrupted by a bad dropping resistor. Check the resistance on the resistor next to the battery and get back to us

That does make sense, the guy I bought it from found an AT leak and recently replaced some lines...

Re: Duty Solenoid A
OK, I checked my resistor and it's definitely dead. So I checked the dropping resistor in my Leg and it's ~12 Ohm. I put the resistor from the Leg into the SVX - it gave me trouble codes on the first engine start, but every start after that was code free.
Thanks for the help, glad I didn't buy a new solenoid!
