Check engine codes

Thanks to the information I found here I was able to do the self diagnostic test for the check engine. Here's what I got
firts I got one long blink and then one short blink so I assume that is code #11 then I got two long and eight short so that would be code #28 right?
Ok code #11 points to crank angle sensor or circuit
question:
What in the world is the crank angle sensor? where is it located? where can I buy a replacement? Can I install it my self?

Code #28 points to Knock sensor No.2(SVX, Left side) and I have the same questions as the previous code.
