I voted the Rav-4 because I dont think I've ever seen a male driving one, the exclipse is deffinetly a chicks car, I even think the 350Z is a chicks car (even though it has power) its just to girly and I almost always see the female gender driving them (and crashing them).

JAGS!!!! Can't forget the Jaguars! Sooooooo girlie. Especially convertible Jags.

Also:
Honda Civic Del Sol

Already mentioned, but lots of girlies love the convertible Mustang (usually V6), which we at work call Chickstangs.

Most of the females we see coming through the shop though will be driving some form of VW or Honda. And, interestingly, most of the lesbians we see do drive Foresters, though there is one that drives a Pontiac Vibe (LOL!).

Back to the chick cars. Jaguars seem to be universally loved by women everywhere, but I wouldn't call them "girlie" cars, at least not in the same way that the Beetle is a girlie car.

Hey, I just remembered the Renault LeCar. In its time, it was pretty girlie.

Miatas, or MX-5 as it's called now, is actually "trackable" so I respect it; it's a design inspired by the old British roadsters, some of the most un-girlie cars I can think of. Also, I see far more men driving these than women.

VW Cabrio, on the other hand.... ugh, don't even get me going.

hahahaha... the LeCar. I remember those from when I was a kid. I thought they were hilarious even then.

New Beatle

Hi everyone, Does the "New Beatle" still have the bud vase? I think that would be the clincher for #ONE girlie car. Take care, BOBB

I also see more men driving Miatas, but that might be because the car is a total chick magnet. Girls are definitely attracted to Miatas, but the Miata might have a little too much "zoom-zoom" to qualify as a chick car.

Generally, though, I think it can be said that most common convertables could qualify as girlie cars. (Of course, exotics don't count.) By "common," I mean Cavaliers, Sebrings, any VW softtop, PT Cruisers, Fireflies, even Mustangs - mostly stuff that was never designed as a softtop.

(I think the SVX makes a great car for a girl)
my sister and alcyone girly can attest to that
but its an "independent girly" for the girl svx-ers

hehe this is funny
cuz we have an eclipse (hers)
and a zx2 (mine) and yeah.. I know the zx2 is a bit girly but it is pretty quick.
I nailed a 16.149 with gutted trunk and CF hood. other wise stock right to the tires. too bad the motor went POP!!! (i think 140k miles counts as natural causes? right?)
gonna put an svt motor in probably this summer right after I get my SVX..

I may have 2 girlie cars.. but they ain't slow..

Camaro

Don't forget the Camaro. I see more fems driving Camaros than men. I would also agree on the VW Bug and Eclipse. The PT Cruiser would probably also qualify. I think you were a bit narrow on your poll.

No offense Drew, but 16.1 doesn't count as "quick" with anybody I know
I could get 16s in my Stratus for crying out loud, and it's an overweight four-door family car with an underpowered motor.

I dont think the poll was too narrow. I asked about the GIRLIEST car, and got an overwhelming response to the VW beetle. I would say that settles it. Although I wish I had put the Ford Focus on there. I'm surprised no one mentioned that particular car anywhere in this thread.
