I bought an obdII code reader made by Stinger,sells for $160,it reads codes,and will clear them also.Of course being an auto tech,it helps me with plenty of other car's also,so you might not want to spend the $. And when I 1st bought my SVX the check engine light was on with a cylinder #3 misfire code,I cleared the code and it hasn't come back since,this was about 20k mile's ago.

flashes several times then goes out,comes on when booting it,but not when in economy mode.
