Jesse,

My guess as to what happened was that you launched too low. From what I could make of it, the fact that your system was engaged at like 2k rpm, you put too much pressure on things. You should try and stage your system to get like 50 off the line and run the full 165 in second and up. I know you want the launch, but it is not worth blowing motors over it. I do hope to see you there though.

good new Chike. I finally got a hold of the information i needed to match up some transmissions. It turns out I have a vast selection to choose from. I have located one in jersey for 100 bux as of right now with a $250 buy it now. I am waiting for more info on the trans id tag and whatnot. Just keepin ya updated.

Whats wrong with the tranny you got? Felt good to me.......for a 5 speed

it screams in 1st and second and it whines in 5th. It also has a rattle in neutral that comes at idle and goes away when i push in the clutch all the way. I want my car to run close to perfect and then I can worry about cosmetics.
