Ah. It wasnt the NEWEST s4, it was like a 96 or something, the previous generation with around 220hp. The S6 was modded, and the SVX was right with them on the top end. I was extremely impressed.

The SVX is a higher class car all around...much like higher class people who refuse to wear what they feel is inferior clothes or jewelry, the SVX refuses to work with cheap aftermarket hop-ups. If you want a modified X, your going to have to do it the RIGHT way...which is something that is severly lacking in the car segment these days. Now it's all turbos and exhausts and computers and NOS...used to be if you wanted more power, you went to the source - INSIDE the engine. Granted with today's technology, a project like that is very pricey...but REAL performance never has come cheap, and still doesn't. I hope that my girl's SVX can survive one more year until she can afford a new daily driver. Then i'll put the X in storage for awhile until i have my own garage and the funds to do some work. There is alot that can be done to that engine, everyone knows that...it's just damn expensive. But im all about stuff like that...a car that is becoming increasingly rare, and to top it off, a truly modified monster...that to me is a real collector's car. So that's what i suggest...if you can't afford the mods now, keep your baby until you can...drive her until you can afford a new servant, then make her your weekend fun car and ongoing project. Just my opinion.
