Anyway, that footage looks pretty good, but it pisses me off where they placed the spectators.... thats just NOT realistic. Anyone who sits on the outside edge of a hairpin turn is an idiot.

To answer your complaint is this image from 1999. Keep watching the slideshow - it's only four or five images, I think. Anyway, it looks like the hairpin shot is from the Rally GB.

Still mad?

uh....that's because the game is based in reality (except for 'no-damage').

I'll take GT without car damage. Sure, it'd be nice, but the trade-off is the sheer number of cars in the game.

Some car manufacturers simply don't want their cars bashed up in a video game. They see the game as an advertising platform and therefore they want their cars shiny and new at all times.

Nevermind the amount of work that has to go in to realistic car damage. Look at Colin McRae 3. That's a badass game with awesome car physics and a great damage model. Therefore you can drive one stinking car in career mode.

other cool games id like to check out are cowboy bebop(i started watching the show for a jazz theory class at Mcdanels college and got hooked) fight club, and croutching tiger hidden dragon. having watched the movies the latter two dont seem to be that cool but i can always rent them. if the ps2 go's down to99$ i would def bu one but until then its counter strike and half life 2 for me.

Whats up with the "uber thin" PS2? It's says more capable also, why. Have they fixed some of the DVD playing bugs? I can play some DVDs on my DVD palyer that get stuck on my PS2. Is the new one better for that. Seems my 4 year old is now an addicted game player, I never get any game time of my own and when GT4 comes out that will not be cool. So I think I need another PS2 of my own. Whats the story, and when exactlly is GT4 comming out?
