Re: What's the difference between the door and the room light?
The door light is the one physically in the lower portion of the door. Its also known as a courtesy light. The room light is the one in the headliner which illuminates the cabin.

on the headliner infront of the sun roof is 4 buttons spot-door-room-spot,
I believe those are what he is talking about. and basically it means when you have the door button on when the doors open the light comes on. but if you press the room button the light comes on until you shut it back off and by lights I mean dome light |

Re: What's the difference between the door and the room light?
OK I think I get it. And I'm a female by the way. :P
So the door button means the dome light is on when the door is opened but is off when the door is shut. And the room button turns the light on whether the door is opened or closed and if you press it again, you can turn off the light even when the door is opened. And the spot lights are turned on by the button. |

You might as well just buy one. There's all kinds of fun and fascinating things to learn.

Quote:
You have it correct except for one thing if the door is open you can not shut off the light with the room button, unless you first have used the door button to disable the light from coming on with the door. |
