new front rotors and pads

It is time for new front brakes/rotors. Does anyone know what brand Subaru sells at their part counter as OEM? For general driving, are OEM pads/rotors the way to go?

I want to make sure that I get good quality rotors that don't warp easy. I had issues with cheap Chinese rotors on my Toyota Sienna. The replacements kept warping. Got fed up and got pair rotors from Toyota Parts and no problems. Was told alloys are different between brands..

I bought mine (rotors and brake package) on ebay from r1concepts. Great price for basic replacements. They have other types of rotors and brakes also.

Re: new front rotors and pads

So, looking at the R1 site... http://www.r1concepts.com/Subaru-SVX-1992-parts.aspx prices look good. Does anyone have recommendations on pad type? The prices are pretty close, so that is not a major factor. OEM, ceramic, or metallic are available.

I'm very pleased with these. On my second set. Ask for an SVX club discount.

I have R1concept rotors and pads as well, 3 years no problems yet. I got the cheap drilled slotted with ceramic pads.

Those photos look like they were photo shoped.

Super,
I bought the basic, non slotted with ceramics. I normally buy drilled/slotted, but this time I chose rotors that can be cut when needed.
