minimum brake rotor thickness
Anyone know the actual minimal thickness in mm that svx rotors can be machined to. both front and back please

It's deja vu all over again.
There was a thread on this very topic on 10/20/2002. The upshot was - don't machine them beyond the minimum thickness stamped on the rotor.

The lip on your rears are probably exagerated by some rust. Sounds like you are in need of rotors all the way around.
