I often wonder how people get to thousands and thousands of posts...
Another one? I think you are getting the hang of it, Rodolfo!

And a nice one as well

Touché, Keith.
Did I mention that my low-maintenance, high-gloss SVX is for sale?

Sorry, I missed it...
What is the story on it?

Thanks,
Keith

If it is totally rusted out on the bottom of the car, please disregard the above request

It most certainly is not!! The stereotyping of northern cars here is unfortunate because it has more to do with care care than the relatively few winter storms requiring salt that most cars experience. For one thing, I had a Trooper for 10 of the 12 years I've owned the MeanGreen SVX, and that was my snow vehicle. As good as an AWD SVX is, it doesn't compare in serious snow dumps. Plus, I've always washed my vehicles thoroughly after any snow, regardless of the temps. PlusPlus, I live in a town that limits the use of salt to reduce runoff to the Huron River that flows through here, and except for selective use of a sand-salt mixture on 8 designated routes, sand is what the cars mostly trek into garages. The Trooper was also rust-free when I sold it last week, except for some rust on an after-market Draw-Tite hitch which I should have given a special treatment that Draw-Tite didn't.
OKAY?!?
My SVX is the '92 Teal advertised on the FS forum here. I have to edit the mileage there after a Chicago run I did last weekend.

I just wish the new Subarus were not so damn fugly!

I do keep looking at that $179 impreza lease though.
I spend more than that on gas in the SVX...
.....
Now I don't even want to use the SVX for work at all, and I am toying with the idea of a second car..
I just wish I could park her and bank some money so I could take her to see Old Tom and have new shocks/springs/mounts and a 4.44 tranny...
But I cant park her without another car.
And another car will cost me more than the repairs to the SVX.
And then I still wont want to use the SVX for work.
And I will still want to drive the SVX everywhere.
ARRRRGGGG!
Update:
Well I decided to lease a 2011 legacy base model...
Now I can start to bank some money to repair the SVX proper.
oh the things I do for you SVX...
