New Trans cooler arrives tomorrow.
So my new transmission cooler arrives before the week is out. It's the B&M Plate and fin model with the fan and thermostat, model BMM-70298. I'm hoping it will allow for the proper cooling considering the extreme temperatures I face here, (100's in the summer) while not over cooling too much (20's in the winter) It's going in the fenderwell. Is anyone else running this setup? I was wondering what the best way is to mount it, as the instructions warn against mounting it horizontally due to the thermostatic switch for the fan.
As a side note: After some further investigation on my part I discovered that the radiator "cooler" is a major bottle neck and can cause you problems in stock form, and even more so if you're trying to run higher than stock flow through it, so it will not be used. A certain member told me this and I did not listen, but he was right.
