O2 sensor replaced, code came back.

I read somewhere that there could be many reasons for getting an O2 sensor failure code. That it is not just a "replace the sensor" code. IE the sensor fails because something upstream causes it to. If the problem isn't solved the sensor will fail again.

Can you enlighten us.

Also someone told me you can clean the sensors. Any truth to that?

Try switching the sensors and see if the code moves to the other side.
