Let me tell you now that this is incredibly easy to do. Once you take off the panel its very straight forward.. press the power window up/down to line up the sliding elevator looking thing with the little T in the picture.. it makes more sense when you look at it I suppose.

I had the same loud BANG then no more function. This was the fix
