I suspect a bad crank or cam sensor. The sudden engine stoppage is a classic symptom.

This may be my prob

My SVX is doing the same thing,
the first few times that it stalled was at high speeds but as time passed it turned to more of a low speed issue.
I have had it at my dealership 3 times and they cannot diagnose it.
PLEASE HELP

Again, I think it is a bad crank and/or cam sensor. Sudden engine stoppage is a classic symptom of these sensors gone bad. You should get a check engine light though.

With the cam sensor failure would that result in stalling upto four times in quick succession?
Is there any way to test for this?
I have not had any check engine light,
The only suggestion was my air flow monitor but then that was dismissed.

I dont have much patience left

You need to test each sensor with a multimeter. A bad crank or cam sensor can make it difficult to start the car and can make the engine stop running at any time.

Blacky, have you had any further joy with solving your problem? My 92 Jap import suffered this exact issue and I traced it to a failing Mass Airflow Sensor. I had my dealer replace it and mine is the happiest SVX I've had in 2 years. Seems slow degradation then periodic failure is quite normal.

Anyway, hope you get it sorted, I fully feel for you, it's like russian roulette, just waiting for the blinkin' thing to cough and die.
