vibradrive

I have a slight vibration at speed (60+) that feels like an out of balance or out of round front wheel. However, I rotated the tires front to back and there is no change. It also seems to be getting worse. I am now suspecting a worn CV joint.

How do I confirm this, and what else would cause these symptoms? Strut mounts? Tie rods?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would guess bad alignment/wheel balance, but it could be your CV's as well. Best way to tell that is whether the vibration stops after a certain speed if that makes sense. Mine always shook at like 58mph but then leveled out at 65mph. It also was worse under hard accel versus just normal accel.
Either way, pay the $20 to get your wheels balanced. Hopefully that will fix it and save you the $500+ for axles.
