Tranny Question?

The following is part of a message I received from somebody trying to sell their SVX. It sounded like I am having this "occasional intermittent cycling" when I drive. Also, my tranny is tranny #2 also. Has anyone heard of this "B solenoid" if so, what does it do?

Transmission was replaced at 120K - factory rebuild then went out at 130K! Replaced again free by SOA. No current trans problems except for occasional intermittent cycling of Lockup Torque converter (B solenoid???) when hot.
Thanks

I've had that problem on and off for a little while, over the summer I think.

Car would do it when it is up to normal operating temperature, i.e. when needle is halfway up, and with light pedal, but would go away once I got the engine "hot", such as driving it "spiritedly".

It would do it to me at about 65-75MPH only, not faster or slower, and seemed to do it after my tranny cooler installation. I suspect that as it got hotter the torque lockup was less prone to unlock.
