Hi all,

Anyone any idea how to remove the side repeater lamp? Looks a pig of a job accessing from the open door....

Thanks

Tony

Tony,

I removed one in seconds via the door opening. You could take the wheel off, and remove the splash guard for access, but that is seriously too much trouble.

The lamp is less than the length of your hand deep from the rear edge of the wing. Open the door, and put your hand in where the lamp is, plenty of room. If your hands are too large, get your son or wife to do it, no major strength needed.

There is a spring-out clip holding on the lamp at the front end of the lens inside the panel. When you have located the lamp by feel, run your middle finger/s past it, and press the clip at the front edge back towards the rear of the car, at the same time pushing out when you feel the clip moving back., It will pop out, and you only have to unclip the wires.
