Delorean windows are even smaller then ours. I think they are even smaller then those too.

Therefore, if you feel bad for them, you MUST feel bad for the Delorean's.

Nope... ALL Deloreans had split windows. Check Back To The Future.

The Delorean was also designed by Giugiaro, and a lot of DMC owners actually consider that the SVX design that was submitted to Subaru was something resembling what a 1990's Delorean may have looked like (with some subtle differences of course).

Having driven a DMC a few times in my life, I have to say that yes, the windows are MUCH smaller than the SVX's... and drive thru's theoretically would be a bear. However, those doors only actually swing out a matter of maybe a foot or so beyond the edge of the car. I just opened the door to retrieve food at the driveup. It also made a great ice-breaker in case you wanted to chat up the girl at the window

I had a great time talking to DeLorean owners at AutoFest in 2001. There are some remarkable styling similarities between the two cars when you compare them side-by-side.

Yeah, a DMC would be cool... but you think the SVX is a killer on maintenance items... sheesh! There's only like 4 suppliers of many of the parts of a Delorean, and those parts that aren't DMC specific are mostly Peugeot/Renault/Volvo parts... read that as EXPENSIVE in the USA.

My friend with the DMC drives it maybe 2000 miles a year... if even. Hell, there are some parts that just aren't available any more without significant expense... so he's leery to drive it sometimes. I'm amazed to this day that he let me drive it so much!

Of course, once we get some time and drop that small-block Chevy in there...
