buzzing noise

My grn '92 buzzes in Reverse and any drive gear. I always here it when I'm coming up to a drive-thru window but when I go to neutral or park it goes away. Something leads me to believe there's a piece somewhere rattling.

most likely it is a loose heat shield on the exaust. Your best bet to track it would be to have someone put it in gear (whilst standing on the brakes) to induce the vibration while you peak under it for the source of the noise. If it is a loose heat shield, others have corrected it by use of hose clamps, welding, or just removing the offending shield (they are there for a reason however. Your risk to take).

Good luck!
