Thought he could swap a twin tubro SVX engine in his WRX

I was just looking at a car for sale on ebay, its an impreza with a twin turboed SVX engine in it, the funny part is that he's selling the car yet it looks like it's incomplete. I bet he never realized that he couldn't just slap two big turbos on that engine.

Soon - Custom Headers, Cold Air Intake, and Custom Magnaflow Exhaust
*New addition*2000 Volkswagon Golf TDi
(don't worry, it's my new winter beater, gives me more money in my pocket(less gas) and I can park my car for longer periods of time giving me time to work on it and less damage to the SVX from winter driving)

Old story. That ones been posted a couple of times resently.

There is a eg33 tt drag car out there. I saw the pictures on NASIOC a while back. He had to modify the hood do fit over the innercooler piping. I think the intake was also custom made so the throttle bodies were locaed at the front.

an old and messy story, apparently. Think the guy ran out of money, was fired from his job at the shop where the work was being done, yada, yada.
Note that the engine doesn't have injectors

Note that a standole would be needed in order to make it run. Unless you wanted to use stock injectors and ignition systems which in that case a single inlet intake would be able to use a stock wiring harness and ECU with the Stage 2 package. Cheap and more than likely pretty effective. The timing of the stage 2v5 is relatively conservative and there is an option for a 5 degree retard upon flicking a switch. SO.... if someone were to buy it, it wouldn't take TOO much work to get it going cheaply

Isn't the reserve $15 or $18k? Think I'll stick with moding my SVXi....

if it wasnt 19k
it would be sick to get it for an svx... take the parts and make em fit (new hood for sure)

and then sell off all the other parts on ebay to recoup

that looks like insane power if stage 2 or whatever could make it work

ya I realized afterwards when I looked at the pics again, it's got no fuel rail, plugs, coils, rad, ANYTHING, that would be a BIG project, if you were to buy it you'd need an SVX parts car and take half your car and put it in there....

not to mention. he has 2 WRX MAFs on there. he would have had to drop quite a bit of $ into a fully customizable ECU. The car does look nice though. i like that purple on the WRX body
