Texas continued

Hey everybody, i just wanted to start a new texas thread because the old ones disappeared for lack of participation! Anyway...
I was wanting to make sure that everybody was planning on meeting again sometime soon. I was hoping within the next month or so we could all get together and go for another drive!

Re: Texas continued

I hope to make it to one of these meets. I caught a flight to Austin Monday to pick up a 95 SVX, but they completely lied about the condition so I came home empty handed.

Re: Texas continued

ah thats unfortunate.
even if you aren't driving an svx you should still try to come out to a meet. they are quite fun.

I am hoping for something soon!

Please show some interest so we can get the ball rolling.

There is a nice 95 Red SVX for sale here in San Antonio - $3500 if you are interested. They got a new car and are looking to sell their SVX.

why does it feel like I only meet people once they are selling their car??? lol

Re: Texas continued

I'm still way down here on the bottom. Still the only SVX I have seen is my own, almost 5 years now....

The only exception is when I go out of town.

Well stop hiding! Come visit some of us in SA.

My engine rebuild is going slow but I'd prefer slow to FAIL. lol

Re: Texas continued

Re: Texas continued

Glad to see other Texans here. I'm new to the site and looking to see what kind of meetings or events there might be. I will be back in Central Texas area about mid June (deployed overseas right now). I have '92 Lsl and '94 Lsi with a bit of body damage but still on the road. Would love to know if there's anything planned for anytime after June.

Re: Texas continued

the san antonio idea is the best. last time we were down there we had an awesome hill country drive. i mean...most of the texas people are down that way...but brownsville to dallas would be awful!!! and vice versa of course...

but ya...i hope soon...i just hope nothing else happens to my car (blown tranny, then head gaskets go out and about a month later a blown motor)
oh well, i guess i signed up for this stuff when i bought my svx. lol.

anyways, lets get the ball rolling! lets put together some...rough dates?
