5speed conversions

G'day all Aussie SVXers

mine's a 93 red mica australian delivered model with 114km and no mods - totally straight!

I've just joined your group and want to know how many of you have converted your SVX from Auto to manual or if anyone has kept the auto, upgraded/ rebuilt it and added faster diffs?

To this end I want either a manual 'box or an upgraded auto with faster differentials (i.e. 4.111 or 4.44).

I'm not into airboxes and filters, chips etc. I believe performance can be improved without engine mods but with significant drivetrain changes.

Has anyone been down this path and if so I'd love to know the results.
