Smile SVX Heated Seats

Just wondering if the heated seats option was ever offered here in the U.S.A.? I have a 1994 LSI, and would love to have heated seats since I live in Michigan. Gets very cold early in the moring sitting down on leather seats! Who ever was the first owner of my car was a moron or just to cheap to get them. Hello you live in a cold freezing state, wake up Mc fly! IF anyone is wondering where the buttons are supposed to be, it is the area where the coin holder is in place if you do not have heated seats like me. Lucky SVX owners that have them! Hmm, while I am on here, I would like to say I just got my 1997 front grill for my car yesterday. Now I need to get it painted. Never really liked the fake light grill look of a old Mercury Sable, blah! Got lucky, I got one of the last ones, it was available from Subaruparts.com. I guess now you might have to special order them from Japan, if you want one. Motorsports warehouse has a version but cost higher $185, I only paid $ 137 something.

Welcome to the network. There's a search button near the top right of your screen. If you click it you can search for any past messages. As far as I remember the heated seats were available in Canada only. There was talk of buying the heated seat units from a Canada part supplier and installing them in a US spec SVX, but I'm not sure if anyone has done this.

There was a group buy a while back at http://www.nasioc.com (neé http://www.i-club.com) that had seat heating elements for $130, and you could even add a seat massager (!) for another $170.

So, at least there are other options available...
