O/T WRC Coverage on NASCRAP TV
Just read on the Ultimate Subie Board that Speed TV has cut back its WRC coverage. Instead of same day coverage they now will have a 2 hour program the Thursday after the race. I guess they needed to rerun another NASCAR race during the extra 1.5 hours of coverage. If anyone else is a fan. Please go to their website and voice your thoughts on this subject. I doubt it will do a whole lot of good but you never know!

They cut the same-day coverage? That's total crap. I'm heading over there right now.

WRC
I went there and vented, gently. Also, couldn't one pressure ones cable provider, after all, the only reason I choose one over the other was Speedvision. Times have changed, since they became SpeedTV, or whatever it is now, they might as well call themselves the NASCAR channel.
WRC is about the only racing I can relate to, well, the unlimited airplane racing at Reno is pretty cool, but you get my drift (four wheel actually, hahaha)

heh... I just did the same, even though I don't get speed channel.. I just think it's kind of ridiculious to cut back on the one televised event which separates your network from the rest.. seriously, have you EVER seen WRC coverage anyplace except on those "Craziest Drivers" shows where the announcer is like "Across the pond, they do racing a DIFFERENT way! Here the driver of this strange Subaru takes a dirt corner at sixty miles an hour! uh oh!"
no. i didn't think so.. oh well........ maybe we should all start a major television network I'll read the weather and do news -adam |

i dont see how they can do that...like dakar this year it was a 30 minute show each time they showed it. They need a channel for nascar related auto sports and then a channel for rally, touring, and v8 supercar type stuff, they are the only races i really watch...

NASCRAP Channel
Nascar, the WWF (Wide Waistband Wrestling) of auto racing.
Really, and last year I'm sure they did an hour per day for the Dakar, but at 50, with you know, having enjoyed the 70's and all so much, my memory is not what it could have been. Rally racing is different, it takes some thinking, like I said before, it's one of the few types of racing some of us can relate to.

Plus they had people there on-site - they didn't have that last year, if I remember. Maybe they didn't. Did they? Crap, and I was born late in the 70s, so I don't even have that to blame.
