Damned pot holes!!

Out enjoying a nice drive on a twisty road on Sunday and BAMM Right wheel slams into a pot hole. Toasted the rim and flattened the tire. To top it off my spare was flat! Thankfully there was a Good Samaritan who gave me a lift to the service station to fill my spare.

Now I need to find a replacement OEM right side rim. Bummer.

You must not travel that far west! Try driving in Pennsylpothole in late winter/early spring. I've toasted 2 myself and I don't really drive my SVX much that time a year!

Good luck finding one up there. Remember there are 2 different shades. One through 93 or 94 and one lighter one later. If its not cracked you might be able to have a good tire guy get it back to decent until you find one or you can always spend about $100 a wheel and have it "fixed".

I'll second the Pennsylpothole comment. I have to dodge them all the time, even with cars that have 70-75 series tires.

There's one unavoidable pot-hole on my way to work i hit every day, at about 3mph. It's more like a crater, unavoidable because it takes up half hte road, so at least one set of wheels has to hit it, and it's a nasty one. Pretty sure it's what caused my cracked rim on my 17"'s.
